Warning about unregulated / Curaçao casinos.

Hi there;

been talking to Hideous via Instagram DMs due to BTG not acknowledging my questions in asking whether Gamdom run legit scripts of their games, and in the case that they do how do they feel about the manipulation Gamdom are doing on their game titles? And also what’s their view on the casino cancelling big wins and then restricted their games to a max potential of the slot to a 1,338x whilst previously claiming 36,000X.
Hideous advised I make a thread here, to warn other players and maybe get a response from BTG   I’ve also asked that Hideous addresses this to his audience since it emphasises the danger of using non regulated (by the UK) casinos.   I’m a high roller and large depositor (£154,000 total deposits in GBP on Gamdom - have shown Hiddeos proofs and will publicly provide proof if given permission)

So, let’s start with: Who's familiar with the slot “Lil Devil” by Big Time Gaming?

well, whilst playing at Gamdom I hit a 14,900 X multiplier on a $10 stake for a massive $149,912 (playing at Gamdom using crypto)

fantastic right?   No, this is where the deception and fraud from the casino starts.
attempted withdrawals and faced with “we’re looking into your bet history”, my VIP manager kept stating they was looking into this and withdrawals are usually fast and instant. However they closed my account with no reason why. Blocked me on Twitter for sharing a conversation with an affiliated streamer who had their own concerns with the site.

short story is; if you plan to gamble please only use casinos with highly regarded, safe licenses designed to protect players. Even though they’re making it difficult to have the same fun with certain restrictions now days - at least you’re protected should you win and the casino won’t abuse their license to refuse a win and keep your money

(Just like to state my account was VIP level 87 wagered over $1.6m. If this happened to me, it’ll happen to anyone with much much smaller account turnovers)
(Oh, and also just to add they don’t stick to their terms and conditions but of course if you break theirs, or win big you’re banned..)

As part of their claim to gamble responsibly they have KYC procedures at various deposit stages surprisingly, even though they closed my account and stated the reason as simply “banned” no explanation. They never once asked to KYC.  Obvious abuse of power and abuse of players (still to this day, no payment no KYC no reply from casino or BTG)

Hideous; I hope this is okay and presented in a clear to read order. I also hope someone from BTG can comment (if you can direct them to the post I’d be much appreciative)

also if it’s okay with the forum rules I will also add links to all images available either on Imgur, Instagram, or “post image” . Com for clear evidence of all claims.

if you made it reading to the end, please leave your thoughts and comments.  Thank you everyone, and good luck with your future streams Hideous I’ve always considered you my favourite player due to energy and entertainment value you bring along with good slot content.  Cheers bud

This is important for people to see - we often hear people say 'don't play on these casinos as you have no protection', but we don't always hear first hand what this means. I've seen a lot of people, particularly in the chat during live streams, mention that they use crypto sites and have no issues, although I'm sure this was the case with you, until there was an issue. The thing is, you might be able to sign up and play for years without an issue, but if an issue does arise you don't have a fallback if you're playing through a VPN, on a site that shouldn't accept your custom.

With that said, anyone that is happy to sign up to these sites and take that risk should do so with this kind of knowledge. We won't ever encourage this though. I know gambling is difficult in the UK at the moment, and a lot of people have their issues with removal of autoplays/bonus buys/turbo etc, but there is a level of protection that is often unmatched, even from MGA licenses.

Thanks for sharing, and I'm sorry to hear you didn't get your cash-out.

(Coincidentally - NO! The other slot potentials didn’t change, although they don’t offer, nor did I hit a 14000x on the games they compared my other gameplay too)

Also RTP lower than variable as advertised by BTG themselves  illegal version of game?

This is absolutely terrible. I would hope that slot providers such as BTG look at this and pull their games from sites that manipulate such as Gamdom in your experience.

Maybe btg can help you out with regards the massive win you have not been paid out for as well, or at list push the casino to be truthful and open about it

Wow yea that's why I have never signed up for gamdom and refuse to ever play a single penny on there because they have alot of similar horror stories... If you are new to crypto casinos A CASINO CAN And WILL change rtp based on if a machine is paying out unbelievable amounts but it's a scam the rtp is only supposed to be altered at the beginning of putting said game on the site if you goto the menu at begging of game play and view your rtp you will see what it is like say for instance I started playing on roobet and then switched to stake once started at stake I noticed I was winning a significant amount of times more because roobets rtp is way lower and if you contact support they say ooo well it's so low that the player won't even recognize a difference ha fuck you roobet I put them in same category as gamdom thanks for reading

Hardly surprising that a story like this has emerged.  I assume you are the same person who has uploaded the transcript to trust pilot.  It is quite similar.

I see you are quoting UK sterling amounts in your opener.  You cannot open an account with Gamdom if you are in the UK.  I assume you know this.

In short, the answer to your question is that regulated casinos do not get to alter the payout on the game after the event.  If they cap it, they have to be upfront.  We have already seen certain casinos restrict the max stake on BTG games to avoid these type scenarios arising.  BTG themselves as far as I aware do not cap winnings.  They would and should be very concerned about any of their games being altered in the way you describe as it would destroy their reputation to the wider casino arena.

If support at the Casino have shut down communication at this stage, your own recourse is go through the limited crappy curacao licensing system regarding a complaint.

Or you can make life very difficult by contacting every single one of their gaming providers to bring their attention of who they are doing business with.  You might want to start getting a statement from Evolution AB (who now own BTG), and then legally pursue the casino company Smein Hosting N.V. (Gamdon).   In short if it was my 150k I'd be talking to a solicitor.

Best of luck pal.

Hey,

I honestly think that you should file a complain to UK gaming authorities, as well as post your complain at Casinomeister forum.

UKGC can push providers to follow rules and give hard time to gamdom, because if they accepted you as UK player - providers can switch off games for that (this happened before, with smaller casinos).

As for Casinomeister - this is really good chance that you can reach provider more easy.

They are not regulated in the uk so the UKGC won’t do anything and neither will IBAS that’s why no one should play on these sites

this is ridiculous, is that even legal?

it wouldn’t be if the casino wasn’t using a Curaçao license - please don’t leave the safety of the UKGC even if they attempt to make it difficult to have as much fun now days. Stay in these safe regulated casinos!

I’ve tried contacting them over several weeks too; whoever runs their Instagram page has opened my message as of yesterday (19-05-2022) and said they’ll look into this.  I also pointed out that I believe Gamdom are using false scripts and not the licensed copy of BTG so I’m not aware they’d be able to do anything 😞

Roobet, Gamdom, Stake, RollBit any of these crypto casinos.  They do not offer the player protection which is important at casinos; they all show multi millionaires sitting in their bedrooms since they don’t have an office or games room to play in; false reality lol   Congrats on the max on Starlight   I’ve had a 4000 flat, and a 4197x and honestly after that made the claim max wins don’t exist lol

TrustPilot, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers - all of them, that’s me though yeah,

I was on holiday when I made the account; in Malta they have affiliates in their casinos it’s legal

BTG have limits, but they’re exceptionally high. Lil Devil is over 100,000X max potential.
Gamdom have still given me, or the public any reason as to why this game was now lowered if it wasn’t to deny me my win.  It doesn’t make sense to even me,

Evolution own BTG? Really? Okay maybe that’s why their responses have been so so delayed!

In talks with a Curaçao based lawyer but there’s also this trust issue with not meeting him face to face.   I’m not sure if he’s just out to scam me. I’ve provided him proof (watermarked. He can’t steal my case and present it as his own..) but he’s claiming a 99% win ration blah blah blah. I’ve said win, and will split the proceedings. I’m sharing my situation as a warning to all not to play at any unlicensed (by the UKGC) casinos.

CasinoMeister forum?  I’m not actually aware of that. I’ve used CasinoGuru and AskGamblers.  I’ll check that and share my story their too.  I want every potential sign up to know the risks if they use Gamdom.

Literally this.  I’ve heard Curaçao casino licenses are a get out of jail free card for scamming and exploiting players due to any discrepancies the casino wants. When the players won fair and square like my case they deny the ability to withdraw funds and ban your account.  Unethical scummy behaviour let alone highly illegal (unless you’re in Curaçao =\)
