Getting out of bed on a Saturday morning, knowing I have a free weekend, opening the curtains and seeing a soft blanket of white snow has cuddles the world in a clean embrace. Then picking up a warm cup of tea, putting the cat on my lap, watching it snow and listening to some back hand slaps from last nights stream.

The best thing about the winter, is having the family round the fire playing board games and drinking hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows. Mine will have a drop of proper twelve in though haha. Just the joy the Christmas spirit brings to the kids, is just so endearing and beautiful.
