New ELK Slots seem harder to naturally bonus?

Maybe its just me , but I feel its harder to naturally bonus the new Elk slots, Nitro 4 seems to take an age vs Nitro 3. Pirots not much better.

Anyone got any views on why this is? Would love to hear your thoughts.

ELK RTPs used to be 96%, then they dipped to 95% for a while, and now all of their recent releases are fixed on 94.0%. Granted, some casinos choose the 94% setting from providers that offer multiple options anyway, but if you're playing a recent ELK you can guarantee it's on 94%. Not sure how much it affects bonus frequency though, if at all - they don't provide those statistics.
