Lloyds bank group debit cards

Hi you hideous lot 🤣

just to make you aware from the start of June ,so now, Lloyds group are starting their security checks in debit card deposits . We’ve had two today both Bev and I .

 

Deposited into Leo and the grosvenor both initial deposits declined then received call to confirm and re deposit.

 

I spoke to Halifax customer service and this is now the norm so be aware guys .

Thanks for this. 👍. I was wondering why  3 deposits failed on 2 casinos. Had to use alternative methods but 
couldn't understand why it was suddenly declined.

I can confirm as I had it this morning too. I’m hoping it’s just the once and won’t be every time I deposit.

I play at videoslots mainly now and what i now do is transfer  say £100 or whatever your limit for the week or month may be, into Paypal from MyTSB/Lloyds Debit card , then deposit from Paypal to Videoslots and all that appears now on my bank statements is the initial £100 transfer to PayPal, dont  know if this will get around the problem and you might not want to do it that way,but its just my way of not seeing my bank statement littered with deposits to casinos and i find that is much easier to handle than making deposit after deposit from debit card.Although not all casinos except Paypal

I so need to start using PayPal, kinda seen this coming, soon all we'll be allowed to bet is £10 lol

I once tried to buy a rug for £80 off Next and it got declined and the bank contacted me to make sure it was legit. I can only assume in far corners of the world there are fraudsters who’s homes are covered in beautiful rugs.
